Audacity Forum

I'm having the same problem. Audacity plays sound that sounds like TV static, and plays the file much faster than it should, playing a 3 minute file in 10 seconds, despite the time on the timeline being correct. I'm using Ubuntu 15.04 64 bit and audacity 2.0.6
