Doug's suggestion is probably the easiest and most sensible.
I can't find a Philips 29AH975. There used to be a 22AH975, so it's possible yours is the US version of that one. But even from that one, I can't find a pic or a schematic.

Re: Carbon Component Manager going away on OSx
I found the discussion on the link you send interesting and the thinking that Carbon would be gone by the next OSx version. Sure would be nice if Apple was upfront and said it was going away at some definite point in time so people had a definite time line in which to work. This particular API has ...

Re: Suitability of a radio receiver/turntable combination.
Does the Philips still have any kind of type number? If there isn't any output, you would need to tap the speaker outputs. That can be done, but it wouldn't provide the best of quality. You'd need something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIGH-LEVEL-SPEAKER-TO-LOW-LEVEL-RCA-CONVERTER-2-CHANNEL-...

Saturation ne vient pas d'audacity. C'est dans l'original...

The first thing you need to learn, is called "gain staging". Making sure every part of the chain is working at it's optimum gain level.forumuser84688 wrote:Hey, I just have some questions. I kind of want to understand more about how to adjust equipment properly to get clear sound quality audio.

What make and model is the mixer?
Maybe it has lower level outputs? Tape out or something like it?
The Behringer UCA202 has consumer level inputs (-10 dB). Maybe your mixer has pro level output (+4 db)?
Passive inline attenuators exist:

Unfortunately, Audacity only supports two output channels, I think.

Re: Metadata Editor -- Copy "Title" into "Album"
I agree it is not intuitive however the basic process does work on Mac exactly as per the Manual. In fact even on Mac you can use F2 after moving into a value cell which then lets you paste. Owww... Well, then it works. Sorry. I can reproduce that on El Capitan in 2.1.1 and 2.1.2-alpha, but that &q...
