There are some other users seeing problems with audio. Reaper, to name one other audio tool. They're all on El Capitan, with recent Macs. What leads you to that thought? Security update 2015-005 is for Yosemite. Could it be you mean Security update 2015-008 or 7?

Have you noticed crashes in other apps? Graphic interface slowdown/hiccups?
