Re: Help I Lost My Files!
Golden rule #1 when working with audio editors or DAW's: make a project, save it. Don't ever move it. And read the docs about projects. This is the reason for failure #1 with any audio tool. Re: Extending Audacity to show A/C-weighted waveform
SPL calibration could be done with some extra hardware. If you had an SPL calibrator, a device that outputs a reference SPL level, you could SPL calibrate your chain. From microphone to Audacity and everything else in between. SPL generators go from 150 $ upwards and can be had from companies like B...

The Fast Track family is still an Avid product, it hasn't been sold to M-Audio. For driver support you need to look here: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/download/Fast-Track-Pro-Drivers However, if you have a Core2 Duo Mac with 10.9 (Mavericks) or later, you're out of luck: http://avid.force.com/...

Re: adding a control to reverb.
That video has nothing to do with audio... You seem to believe it's as simple as recording some words, throwing a filter over the audio and ending up with a hypnotic message. If that could be done somehow, the advertising business would be all over it, wouldn't they? :D EMI has done some research in...

Language... :D I don't even refer to USB headsets (or mics) as an "interface". But even the Chinese 0,95 € USB thingies don't behave in such a manner. You must have stumbled on a really bad one. 8-) And thanks for the offer, but I already belong to the Excel eradication society. And to quo...

Re: Recording plays a semitone low
Most digital recorders I know will always lock to 48 KHz if you use the spdif coaxial or optical connector. If you send it 44.1 KHz, the recorder will request 48 KHz and will get it from the computer, no matter what the original is. I don't know how Windows 10 behaves, but I'd expect it to do the sa...
