Re: Adding Cover Art & Meeting I-85 Compliant Needs

You're right that many podcasts (and I would hypothesis that especially podcasts using Audacity) go over an hour. I'd rather see some way for the tool to process the audio without the possibility of frustrating the user. What if it could process in 30-minute batches, separated by silence or breaks?...

Re: Converting Dual Mono to Mono

You could use envelopes to automate the mix.

Leave the envelope volume up for the channels you want to use, turn down where you don't want to use it. That should give you a sliding transition between the two channels. See:

Re: Name and performer together in iTunes

I don't know if there's a bug there. In which circumstances should the meta data editor appear?

I tried searching the manual, but couldn't find it

Re: Noise Reduction

Normally Audacity exports how...left channel on one side...right on the other? Audacity can export more than one or two tracks. That's not the problem. It can only play back stereo. 2 channels, not more. I've never tried multi channel export from Audacity, as I also use Reaper and Audacity can't pl...

Re: Noise Reduction

Can you give me a general idea about how to get a better stereo mix on the final project? I`m sure it`s in the manual and I`m going there next..I`m guessing with the website I can only upload MP3s but I`m not sure. Try the free UpStereo VST plugin from QuikQuak. Re: Noise Reduction

Quadrophonic output isn't a problem. It just has another name these days. Or even several. The most common name is "Ambisonic". Surround is another one, but it is usually associated with DVD Dobly AC3 playback in a 5.1 setup. And that is for movies. Ambisonic started where quadrophonic sto...

Re: Name and performer together in iTunes

If you are talking about entering metadata in the Metadata Tags Editor, that is turned on or off for the export step in Import / Export Preferences. That's what I'm talking about. It was the usual metadata tags editor window that showed. I was in a hurry, so I didn't really take notice and consider...
