Do you have any other audio recorder available for testing?

I suppose the El Capitan on it has had the latest updates?

Does it also happen with another audio interface, eg a Behringer?

Re: Blank audio when uploaded for podcast

The top track was muted at the time you exported the audio?

Unfortunately, you can't check that after the facts...

Re: xone22 into audacity - a lot of noise!

If it is a genuine Apple charger, you could try getting a new one. I haven't tried that myself, as I never had a new one that was noisy. But it's worth trying.

If it's a Chinese one, you're probably better of with a genuine one. Some Chinese chargers aren't safe...

And most of today's desktops are portables in disguise. Do you make this stuff up as you go along? No Steve, I repair serious computers at component level. Most consumer grade computers these days, come with chipsets for laptops, to save power and to make the computer cheaper, lighter and/or thinne...

No, how hard is it?

Re: xone22 into audacity - a lot of noise!

Doesn't sound like the usual USB noise...

What Mac is this, exactly?

In case it's a laptop, have there been fluid spills into the keyboard?

Does it also produce this noise when it's on battery?

Was the Xone mixer attached when you tried it on your friend's computer?

Re: lufs meter (klang)

I think you first need to understand what the new LUFS system is. It's a recommendation for EU broadcast stations. The ITU has turned it into a world-wide recommendation. It is a way to define loudness before entering the final compression in broadcast. It is not very different from the ancient VU-m...
