I did try various changes but nothing worked. I have included some screen shots of what I use. I tried the drop and drag but apparently I am doing wrong. Hope this helps and I can get the app going. Thanks much. Blessings.

Yes, that's what I thought. I am not getting those bouncing blue lines(I call wave forms), Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Thanks Steve for the reply. Yes, I did mean Any Soft Virtual Driver. Anyway, I did download ffMpeg and I have also tried the WASAPI. When I record I still get no recording. Let me ask, should I not have a "wave form" appear on Audacity when I record? Thanks my friend for any info you can give me.

Only static when recording YouTube

I am using Win 7 Ultimate. When I try to record music from YouTube I do not get a wave form. My exported files are all blank with the sound of static. I have both RealTek and Any Soft Virtual sound. I have tried setting both in Audacity but nothing works. The results always the same. I do not think ...
