Hey team! (After updating to 2.1.2, I can no longer drag and drop files from finder, the desktop etc to the project window, the icons just bounce back. Dragging to the dock icon still works though, but if you want to get multiple files easily into one project that won't help.) EDIT: Found the above ...

If there are more options on Windows or Linux, perhaps getting a cheap laptop is the simplest solution? Or do you need some other OS X specific software for further processing/analysis?

Absolutely, the preferences were deleted between the test with 2.1.0 and the file was blanked and "newprefs..." inserted before installing 2.0.6 I'm not sure what you mean by "network transmission of audio"?
