Never mind. I figured it out. I'm just plain stupid. I used a free version of a conversion software that changes m4p to mp3 and it only allows me to convert the first 3 minutes of play. Nothing having to do with Audacity. Now I got to find a free version of a conversion software to move forward with...

This is a new computer. I have like 45gig of harddrive space left. I have tried to load the .mp3 file in 5 or six times. It stops at the 3minute mark each time. Since the .mp3 is a Karaoke recording, it is protected? Or something like that?

Inport time not long enough
I imported a .mp3 file. Not all of the file is there when import is finished. There seemed to be a maxium size for import. Is there a way to modify this? The track needs to be longer to take the entire music file. Only about 30 seconds or so.
