Convert from mp3 (or whatever) to CD Audio [SOLVED]
I would like to convert the files I make with Audacity to a format that will play on car CD player or portable players. I've tried several with no luck? Is there an app that will convert to Audio CD format? I didn't see that choice in the Audacity drop-down menu, or any other file converting app eit...

Re: Input Record Level [SOLVED]
The new password that the system assigned me seems to work fine, for some reason the original pw that I had been using didn't.
Go figure. Thanks again for all the great help!! I'm really enjoying using Audacity!

Re: Input Record Level [SOLVED]
Ok, Success! PROBLEM SOLVED! I eliminated the UCA202 and plugged all my line output devices into a A/B switch then fed that into the MBP 1/8" input. All I have to do is make a quick change in the sound preferences and that's it! The USB turntable plays through the USB as it should.......AND......no ...

Re: Input Record Level
Whew, this is confusing. I'm using OS X 10.10.1 Audacity 2.0.5.0. I'm using the UCA202 to get the monitor function, which I have found that theres a way to get a monitor function it to play through the MacBook Pro speaker without it......the play-through!....oh well. I don't think there is a way to ...

Input Record Level [SOLVED]
Ok......the input slider bar in the upper right is not active, the on-sctreen note says to use the Mixer. In the Audacity manual in the Playing and Recording section it says bout the same thing. Ok, so where is the Mixer? The reason I ask, is I'm getting lots of clipping/red lines during some record...

Re: Inputs confusing! [SOLVED]
Problem solved!! I purchased the Behringer gadget and it works like a charm! It has a set of RCA outputs that I'm not using......maybe I'll just hook a small amp there and a couple speakers. I'm using a music hall USB-1 with it, the sound quality is much more than I expected! Thanks again for your e...

Re: Inputs confusing!
I'm impressed! Totally! Thanks for the great info! That's correct, my MBP does not look like the photo you displayed. My MBP has only a headphone jack, an SD card slot, and of course the USB ports. That's it. I wonder if mine is early build, or late build? I'll be studying the info you provided and ...

Inputs confusing! [SOLVED]
Anyone have experience with the sound selections in Sys Preferences? There seem to be redundant selections in the dialog box. At the top are the standard Input/Output choices, but at the bottom of the same box is another place for input selection. My MacBook Pro has only 1 audio I/O receptacle. When...
