Trying to use soundflower
I'm using MBP with Yosemite 10.10.5 Audacity 2.0.6.0. Soundflower 1.1 or 1.4.3. depending on where I look on the MBP. Sound flower is in the applications folder, and on the dock. The main problem seems to be that sound flower does not appear as a choice/s in the dropdown menu/s on Audacity. However ...

Re: Burning Audacity audio formats.
Ok, that helps a lot! So, it would seem there is no fool-proof way to do this and assure that the cd will be playable on everything. I guess the solution would be to keep the files small.....very small. It took 2 cd-r's to hold 90 minutes of mp-3, because, as you said software expands the files, alt...

Re: MP3 Files won't play in Audacity
I am a total amateur at this but I have had no problem at all doing what you are having trouble with. I just drag&drop the mp3 onto the Audacity field. Then it lets me do "whatever". I'm using OS 10.10.5 Yosemite with Audacity 2.0.6.0. Do you have your system preferences (Sound) set properly? Hope t...

Burning Audacity audio formats [SOLVED]
I am using Yosemite 10.10.5 with Audacity 2.0.6.0. After exporting my audio (mp3 using Lame) the play ok on the MBP. The 2 files are a total of 92 mb and 95 minutes. When I try to burn them through iTunes (audio format) the iTunes tells me that they are too big to fit on the cd-r. Isn't a cd-r suppo...

Re: Convert from mp3 (or whatever) to CD Audio [SOLVED]
I have quite a number of old audio cassette tapes that I'm trying to burn to audio cd's to play in the car. In which case the full set of tutorials from which this one comes may well be useful to you too: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_copying_tapes_lps_or_minidiscs_to_cd.html WC 7/9...

Re: Convert from mp3 (or whatever) to CD Audio
See this tutorial from the Audacity Manual: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/burning_music_files_to_a_cd.html I'm not sure if using this route is the correct way to reply to your help message, but what you said sounds a bit more appropriate than the others. Thanks so much for the guidance! I ha...
