Re: Need help recording to existing mp3's

If you can link your iPod to your PC for audio input, and do the same with your keyboard, then you should be able to use the multi-track techniques as done in this example:

This is geared towards vocals and condenser mic's but the principles are the same...

Re: Recording hypnotherpy sessions - can anyone please help?

About the CD's for recording on a CD recorder - we had to use the specific (and expensive) audio CDR's which was another reason NOT to use these pain in the butt machines...maybe later version used PC CDR's, but ours didn't so there was not a lot of choice in makes available - we just went with what...

Re: HELP! recording from tapes to computer/cd

The guide that I have done for recording cassette to CD's using Audacity was done on XP so may prove useful, it starts here: http://www.cassette2cd.co.uk/DIY/how_to.php and goes through the stages step-by-step with screen-shots - it is done alongside an example of how to do the same with Magix Audio...

Re: Recording hypnotherpy sessions - can anyone please help?

As above, your computer is probably not the best tool for this job - you need an audio set-up first and foremost. Two microphones, and a stereo tape/CD input with an output that can be recorded straight to CD. Now I don't know how far CD recorders have come, but we bought one to record sermons at ou...

Re: Overdubbing Question

Thanks for that - I too found that the delay on software playthrough was both off-putting and unhelpful. I decided to do it without monitoring, but next time I will try your suggestions
