It's a flat line and when I boost the gain to the max, it just buzzes.
I'm on Vista, Inspiron E530s. I'm using a Dynex headset.
I tried using Sound Recorder. Nothing.

my first recording
Well, when I try to select the input device the drop down menu is blank and I have a headset with mic connected to the front jacks. I can't find anything on the FAQ or the tutorial.
