If you added this PPA repository (https://launchpad.net/~audacity-team/+archive/daily) to your sources list, comment it out. That PPA repository contains daily builds from audacity's subversion repository. It is generally recommended to use the official repository version rather than a PPA version....

Friends: I'm running Audacity 2.0.6-Alpha-Mar 13 2014 installed on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Every few days I get two Audacity LP-PPA updates (one 2.4mb, and one 2.8mb) that appear to be the same each time.
