Re: Set Starting Track Number for Export
Yes, I vote for adding the starting-number boxes. I did see the suggestion about using the pause between sides... WAY after when I needed to know. See, I only read enough to get the tapes recorded one side at a time before worrying about figuring out how I even wanted to edit them or how much or how...

Re: Set Starting Track Number for Export
You may need to clear up some of my misunderstandings. Track numbers are what players use to determine the desired order for sequential play, right? Gotta have for books and other order-dependent tracks. I've always thought the main reason we prefixed file names with their associated track numbers w...

Re: Set Starting Track Number for Export
The basic requirement came from simple laziness on my part. I had two separate projects each containing one side of a cassette tape recording. Each project had on the order of 30 labeled segments. The label names had the intended 2-digit track numbers for exporting both to one MP3 album. So, project...

Set Starting Track Number for Export
I have V 2.0.5 on WinXP SP3 installed from .exe I have found a couple fairly-old posts related to setting the starting track number for export. The replies are all workarounds so the issue has been around for quite some time. However, it seems to me it should be a built-in export option. I have seen...

Cannot Export-Multiple Just One Selected Track
I have 2.0.5 on Windows XP SP3 installed from .exe. I had recorded a tape that had a sequence of one type of recordings followed by a sequence of another type of recordings. I split the original track at their junction with the second half put in a new track. I then edited and labeled all with one l...

Re: Make Album Artist and Year Propagate in Export Multiple
Thanks.
I guess I never considered the values would be "sticky" between editor window sessions.

Re: Make Album Artist and Year Propagate in Export Multiple
Some comments about the following statement: "However the current behaviour is useful for those who are working with compilation albums." I probably do not well-understand the many ways such users would want things to work but offer the following for consideration anyway. ;) The assumption seems to ...

Re: Make Album Artist and Year Propagate in Export Multiple
When I brought up the Metadata Editor directly, I decided what you must have meant was for me to fill in the fields I wanted to have preset values and then click "Set Default" and then close the editor window so I could actually initiate the export. AND, that seemed to work like I wanted it to. If y...

Cannot immediately paste in Metadata Editor field
Metadata Editor has an annoying feature in that, when you tab to an entry field or click in one to select it, that field is highlighted with an outline box and you can immediately type into it but you CANNOT paste into it until you click in the outlined box to place the cursor there. For example, it...

Make Album Artist and Year Propagate in Export Multiple
I am using 2.0.5 installed by the .exe installer on WinXP SP3 latest updates. I have a project whose content is one track of what I consider one album of "songs" all by the same artist and year and genre. I have labeled the songs but when I export multiple, the metadata editor does not remember the ...
