I'm using Audacity 2.1.2 on an iMac running OS 10.6.8.
My question probably has an easy answer, or at least I hope so!
I'd like to replace a section of an audio track with silence, and I'd like to be able to change the length of that silent bit.
How do I do that?

Sounds easy, but I get one clip superimposed on the other, not back-to-back... what am I missing?
