Really? You mean his voice sounds like he's in his mums kitchen? His voice still sounds quite clear (no rumbling or anything in the background)
I'll try your settings and see what happens!

Re: Crispy sound on voice after noise removal (uploaded exam
Thanks for all the suggestions, even though I don't really understand a lot of it! Your knowledge is very tight. I don't know how to use the settings effectively or how to play around with them to get the right result. My room is pretty small and my lights are usually off anyway. As for your suggest...

Re: Crispy sound on voice after noise removal (uploaded exam
If you listen to Test 2 (Without noise removal) how bad does the background noise sound to you?
The problem is the podcasts I'm creating I want to eventually sell, so I want it to sound as good as possible. I believe the Samson CO1U is quite a good mic, so surely it's possible to get it better?

Crispy sound on voice after noise removal (uploaded examples
Ok, so basically after I use noise removal my voice sounds ok...but there's a crispy sound behind it which is really annoying.
I'm using a Samson CO1U.
Example 1 is without noise removal...
Example 2 is with noise removal
Any more info just ask
thanks joe

Can't get rid of static noise even after noise removal?
Hey,
I'm using a Samson CO1U mic. I followed the instructions to remove static noise, and although the background noise does go the audio sounds very clicky.
Any ideas?
Thanks Joe
