With rectification you can combine the +ve part of one wave with the -ve part of another ...


it's probably going to sound harsh & unmusical though.

Try the different audio host options, (restarting Audacity after each try).

The standard version of Audacity is not compatible with ASIO drivers.

Audacity's free competitor OCENaudio can communicate with ASIO drivers.

If only a few samples are missing can be fixed using repair, (this is true in the example you posted).
