Audacity noise-gate "Noisegate.ny" does not work in real-time: Audacity only applies effects to existing recordings.

but see if you can reduce the hiss by adjusting the levels in Windows microphone properties.

IMO wayy too much Noise Reduction.
A hint of hiss is preferable to interruptions from R2D2.
(It's not possible to remove the NR artefacts).
