I've been playing around with the De-Clicker to fix this mouth noise in the middle of the word for the last 1/2 hour. I can't figure out what settings will take care of this. Any ideas? I don't see where the 'file browser' button is? Only recent versions of Audacity have the Nyquist plugin installer. Otherwise you'll have to manually drag/paste a copy of the ".ny" file into Audacity's plugin folder, which, just to make life more difficult, is a hidden folder in Windows ....

Definitely de-ess vocal before reverb, (particularly when using a boatload of reverb).
Maybe Autoduck reverb to improve intelligibility of lyrics.

"320kbps and 96000" will sound worse than 320kbps and 41000Hz.

With the former you are wasting precious bitrate on inaudible sound.

By definition, if it's subliminal no one is consciously aware of it.
