The software packaged with Motu interfaces has a noise-gate , that could explain -∞ noise floo...

Re: How to find time location of Bleeps
Hi! I've got a large file that has some scattered "bleeping" of offensive words. The bleep tone is far too loud, so I want to find their time locations and simply delete the bleep tones manually where they exist. I tried analyzing for clipping, but none was found. I plotted the spectrum a...

Re: Automatic removal of mouth smacks
I've been able to help room echoes just a little by collecting echoes—by themselves—in a file and use that for Profile. That shouldn't work as well as it does. ... Two benefits : #1: applying an equalization which selectively attenuates the resonant-frequencies of the room. #2: the Noise reduction ...

Re: How to Select Only a Single Channel
... Do you think it might be possible to request a feature wherein this capability is done simply with a meta-key click? Not only would it be considerably less cumbersome, especially for a small region of audio, but it would also eliminate any possible pan and gain problems. There's a plugin to rep...

Re: Piano not getting recognised
The output from the instrument goes to "line-in", (not mic), on the computer.
If your computer does not have a "line-in" socket,
you need a gadget to convert one of the computer's USB sockets into line-in,
