I'd suggesst you also raise the floor of Chris's compressor to -11db fron the default (-32db?), the noise between phrases will be less, e.g.kozikowski wrote:I changed one step. I reset Chris's Compressor first number -- compression -- from 0.5 to 0.77.

at least it is not that annoying than it was before. Thanks a lot, how did you do that ? I'll assume it is a lot of work, did you use any filter or what ? I manually chopped out many tiny bits (deleted) then used the "Repair"effect after each click-ectomy to heal the join where the click was remove...

The camera noise is going to be impossible to remove completely,
I've tried by chopping the worst bits out ...
I will be suing for RSI
If the phrase where the camera clicks occurs is repeated you could could try pasting it in to replace the clicky bit.

Re: removin wind
You'll need a video editing programme to replace the sound track on the video, the ubiquitous windows Movie Maker will do,aqua91264387 wrote:im a noob at this so how do you overdub?
Free video editors for Linux are suggested here ... http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic ... 436#p82436

You could over-dub with a new sound track ... http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=81792
In future you should use a wind shield on your microphone to reduce wind noise.

Re: Vuvazela noise frequency removal
Audacity does do noise removal and notch filters, but it doesn't apply filters/effects "on the fly", "in real time".

Re: Put audio to different loaded audio's timeline?
One option is to slide the “EVA Stars” forward in time using "time shift" option: click on the double headed arrow ( flashing below) then you can slide “ EVA Stars” forward in time so it starts when “PROTO MO…” ends. 32a1.gif You can do this “time shift” on Audacity 1.2. or 1.3 See this Youtube vide...

Drop IO offers 100Mb free file sharing "drops" (no horrible adverts): it has an inbuilt audio player so you can hear before you decide to download e,g, Other file sharing sites are available, some are also free but have nasty adverts for casinos etc, others are ad-free but rquire a subscription.
