The reason for this question is that I play with different settings in "Graphic EQ" but can't find an ideal setting to make sax brighter .. If you look on the spectrogram view when the sax comes in you will see the frequency-range it occupies. By the way, how can we find that nice curve a...

Ouch. If you want it louder, use (soft) limiter with make-up-gain.

Don't use distortion unless you want it distorted.

I'm trying to make this audio come through clearer to the listener. Right now it feels like it's an underwater concert. I'd like to make it brighter, but preserve the bass. How do I do it? I've played with many variations of Filter Curve EQ and I've boosted the db as much as I can without clipping....
