Re: Vinyl Record level excessive
I think my next step will have to be to change my turntable to one with a USB output hoping that I can be sure that the output level is both high enough and not too high. If your existing turntable is fully functional then it would be cheaper connecting it to the suggested Behringer UCA 202* device...

Re: Force EQ
Hmm... Now I'm thinking about the export function on spectral analyzer and the import function on the EQ. If I could write a script to find the difference between two spectrums and convert that into the EQ format inverted, it would be possible to roughly replicate that function. Great minds think a...

Re: Time Delay
If you want them to hear your voice through their headphones in-sync with your "live" voice, (i.e. no delay), then IMO there is no software solution to this playthrough delay problem: extra hardware will be required … Software playthrough introduces its own delay (different from latency) w...

Re: Cutoff below a certain magnitude.
I'm facing with a challenge where I have to separate a male voice from a lot of background noise of vehicles (including the horn). There's one thing common about these noises, they are not that much intense, so I was wondering why not just cutoff all noise below a certain intensity? Unfortunately t...
