Re: Electrical Buzzing Sound
EDIT - Oh right, I misread what you meant No my mistake, I thought you were unplugging the audio connections (jackplugs). Yes, using a 2-pin mains (AC) plug can make a difference as it doesn’t have an earth pin which 3-pin plugs have. Earth (a.k.a. "ground") connections (or lack of them )...

Re: Electrical Buzzing Sound
For those who can't wait for Mega-slow upload I've attached an mp3 copy ... peculiarbuzzing (mp3 version).mp3 The buzzing is mains hum (50Hz type). Is it because it's a round 2-pin plug using a 2-pin to 3-pin adapter? I'd love to know. If a M ono jack-plug is (incorrectly) inserted into a S tereo so...

Re: Improving quality audio from a video.
You should be able to adjust the frame rate, screen resolution, audio sample rate etc, in the settings of your screen capture program. The trade off is quality against file size: use the lowest frame rate, resolution etc that you can bear to keep the file size down, otherwise a 10 second video will ...

Re: Improving quality audio from a video.
The buzzing could be an artefact caused by the computer unable to cope with the astronomical frame rate (200fps). [If the buzzing is present when you record your voice using audacity, no video software running, then the above hypothesis can be excluded] All I saw on the video was a 3 second recordin...
