I like this idea a lot. Does anybody have a clue how this can be done? Eg where I can find such software or find the person who can build it? Furthermore how easy is it to separate the two elements of the blow: the hammer hitting the impactor and the stem "hitting" and ringing along with the femur? Could (securely) attach a contact microphone to the prosthesis/ patient to isolate its sound from that of the hammer and room sound...

... is there any way to use it as an effect over a sound? rather than have it generate a wave. Sounds like a job for a ring modulator ... 440hz sine wave Ring Modulated with 1000Hz saw wave.png Alternatively modulate with a more complex waveform by applying Steve's amplitude modulation code .

I didn’t know about the "tu.be" thing :oops: , but those links don't work on my PC.
It must be a specific issue with my computer, (maybe “Noscript” : it can block allsorts, including flash).

I could get to your Youtube videos by Googling their titles though.
