I think you need to disable "record what you hear" (or equivalent) , in "Recording devices" ... ... the feedback echo is severe, that makes me think you are recording "what U hear" or "stereo mix" instead of the input you are actually recording from such as a ...

The problem is that this software is not seeing that or picking up that theres sounds being playing from a tape If you're using a (microsoft) Windows operating system, (statistically you probably are), you have to enable the device you want to record from in Windows recording devices for audacity t...

For some reason, I can't get the same sound quality as in that guy's video. What tools should I use on audacity to fix this? e.g. compressor, equalization, normalize, reverb, leveler?
