Re: Bleeding Tracks

If you're using a microphone to record your guitar then acoustic-feedback from the headphones is a possible source of bleed : sound leaking from the headphones is picked up by the microphone. Possible solution : over-ear headphones which stop the sound leaking out ... http://www.studiospares.com/con...

Re: Automatically fading badly cut notes to remove clicks

I have around 14 lines of notes, in which every note is surrounded by silence. In theory, it's easy for me to go through each one repeatedly fading the very end, but for several thousand notes, I'd rather find a better way. I feel like there must be a way to do this automatically. Is it possible? I...

I gather from that and the "Modern Spacer" YouTube video these plugins appear to be more designed for subtle enhancements ... . The spacer VST is essentially a reverb effect : it simulates acoustics of a room you would wish the performers or loudspeakers were in , it can create a wider st...

Your (presumably artistic) choice to not use the fuzz pedal on the guitar riffs in the headphone mastered track helps also. I vote for distortion (via Audacity's leveller ) ... end of 'Sunday blues' , before-after Audacity's leveller + reverb.flac It's good for blues-vocal too : it makes the vocal ...
