Re: CD track sections

If you want split the CD into separate mp3 tracks, the thing to use is "export_multiple"
http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/ex ... tiple.html
which will create individual mp3 (or WAV) files according to the points you have labelled.

Re: What to Edit with?! Speakers, Headphones, and What Type?

Thanks, the Audacity page listed it but no link, so I found it online--hope it's safe! ... I use WOT services to see if a site is known to be risky, but "dllfreedownload.com" is "Unknown" by WOT , also unrated by McAfee . [ I've had a look but I can't find the source I got it fr...

Re: What to Edit with?! Speakers, Headphones, and What Type?

Here's my editing attempt at emulating a 1936 recording using Robert Johnson's Terraplane Blues' waveform and frequency analysis as a guide ... Not Lo-Fi enough IMO . There's a free plug-in called " JS Resonnateur " which can gives an ancient low-fi microphone sound. I used it on the &quo...

Re: De-esser for Mac?

Now I've had a chance to use Paul-L's de-esser it's amazing : if you select say 30 "frequency bands" it performs high-resolution de-essing ... Paul-L's De-Esser is capable of high-precision de-essing #.gif SpitFish is not capable of acting with that precision. [ BTW Paul-L's De-Esser is no...

Re: Unwanted noise on recording

I increased the value of Capture as much as possible but it did not make any significant difference to the hum If it worked it would reduce level of hiss relative to the signal, it would not reduce hum. Here's a digital solution to removing your mains-hum ... Paste the code below into something cal...
