Re: Sound fades to nothing! Please help!
... It sounds like you have been affected by Windows enchancements ... The noise-reduction "enhancement" problem kicks-in in seconds, not "15 minutes". A microphone with a dying battery could cause a fade-out over 15 minutes. The recording I have is now fading away to nothing gr...

Re: Matching two audio tracks
I want to stitch two audio music tracks together (first half and second half). They were both recorded in different environments. Is there an easy way to copy all the attributes of one audio track (such as gain) and then apply them all in a quick and dirty way to the other track so the two sound co...

... thanks for your EQ curve. Could you tell me how did you came up with this? I understand it was not done manually considering amount of points on the curve. Or am I wrong? Not manually : I used an experimental plugin Steve made " SpectrumToEqCurve " which derives an equalization-curve ...

Re: Identify and suggest plugins used in this recording?
The optimum EQ will be somewhere between the curve above , and Koz's curve below ,
i.e. you may wish to flatten some of the jagged peaks in the curve above , (e.g. @ 3500Hz) .

Re: Identify and suggest plugins used in this recording?
Wow, I did not expected custom equalization curve You can "import" equalization curves , rather than having to draw them, see ... http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/equalization.html [ see "Manage Curves" at bottom of that page ]. original - target - original with ''Horzy'' Eq...

... perhaps ways of clipping a sufficient amount of data without creating ear-sandpaper? I'm very much an amateur; perhaps there's an obvious answer you might assume I already know about? Clipping creates higher frequencies , which are the "sandpaper" effect . You can filter them out (aft...

Re: Steganography with Audio
Things like "mp3stego" can add hidden data , but the added data would not produce audible changes or show up on a spectrogram.

Re: Maximize each wavecycle to maximum volume
... In order to increase the volume level, I need to select each wavecycle and amplify it. I wanted to ask: how to compress each wavecycle without distortion and clipping? How it is possible to maximize each wavecycle to maximum volume? Maybe you are looking for a brickwall limiter ? ... http://for...
