Bollywood is very keen on reverb ... https://youtu.be/9oJOzvHyS_k?t=2m1s
There are plenty of free reverb plugins which can be used in Audacity.
e.g "antress modern spacer" plugin can easily produce strong reverb effects , or "Anwida DX lite" reverb plugin.

Re: Interview guest audio is too loud
... If I do record and it's too loud/hot...is there a way to fix it while editing? I tried compressing it. It lowered the overall volume, but not the peaking distorted sound. low-pass equalization can make the distorted-audio less-harsh. Something like the "am radio" equalization-curve pr...

Re: lower signal level (volume) after GSnap in Audacity
... However, the signal level of my waveform after processing is much lower (see screenshots); if I'm reading the meter correctly, it's around 5 dB lower. My old version of Gsnap doesn't do that. audacity WAV sample.wav ... I run windows 8.1. The audacity version is 2.1.0. I use it for voice recording from a Logitech headset. Which worked fine for the first month or so. Your voice does sound gated : it's only admitted when above a volume threshold. Real-time "Noise Suppression" is...

Re: low resonance in live recording
On a live recording, there's a resonance in the room, PA, etc that sounds like a peak in the low mids when the singer hits that tone. Using Audacity 2.0.3, I'd like to EQ that peak out. I'm thinking I'd need to watch a spectrum display at the particular point in the recording where the "woof&q...
