Re: Converting a Dynamics Processing Curve from Audition...
Do you know if there is live preview with this plugin? In Audacity 2.1.X there is real-time adjustment of effects , e.g. The ToneBooster compressor with the soft knee may be more-like the curve you are looking for. Is this the closest thing I could get to an expander in Audacity? Again there are fr...

Audition let's you fine tune compression and normalization in a variety of different ways. I was hoping I could convert the graph shown below to something similar in Audacity. Noah's compressor curve.jpg ... I'm using Windows 7 and the latest release of Audacity 2.1.1 There are free plugins which w...

Re: A suggestion for a pitch effect
Well, I thought it could be something to change the time and pitch simultaneously (similar the last example) but for example with different envelope points, so we might change the time and pitch of various wais, and not necesarily in a lineal way. The last example was "turntable warping",...

Re: Individual tracks OK, multiple tracks have buzz?
I also applied compression ... Compression can raise the noise-floor , which in your case includes (mains?) buzz noise. I also applied ... noise removal to all the tracks ... In this scenario: buzz when playing 32 tracks at once, but no conspicuous buzz on a single track, I'd use noise-gate rather ...

Re: Individual tracks OK, multiple tracks have buzz?
I'm recording many tracks for a choir song (about 32 tracks in total) and when I record each track individually and play them back, there is no buzz, it sounds perfectly fine. But when I play it back, there is significant buzz, I'm not sure why? Mains-hum buzz is accumulative. Ignorably faint level...

... Sounds like a totally messed up frequency or some Morse talk. And about every 5 seconds it sounded like a voice hidden in the distorted frequency. Re: A suggestion for a pitch effect
David Sky made a plugin called "turntable warping" ... http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Turntable_Warping_MS It just linearly speeds-up or slows-down the track , similar to a record-turntable starting-up or slowing down. "turntable warping" is not as cont...

Re: A suggestion for a pitch effect
... I would like to suggest a pitch vending effect, for example to pitch shift a recording around the time to make special effects, etc, and it could be manipulated using text like the text embelope The Audacity " time track " feature is similar to your description, but it changes pitch &...

Re: Normalizing volume across files
Got it to download - when I look in the plugins file, it's there - but it doesn't show up in my Analyze menu after I restart Audacity... Is it possible you sent me the Mac OS version instead of Windows, or does that not matter? The file Koz posted is a compressed-format called a zip-file . You have...
