Is there anything else you would suggest? How about for the hum issue? Or can that still just be monitored and filtered via Audacity? Ideally find the source of the mains-hum and eliminate it, rather than remove it afterwards in Audacity. Steve's hum-remover plugin will get rid of the mains-hum. Th...

Even if you can obtain electronics & transducers which will reproduce "above 22 kHz",

You'll need spectrogram view , ( rather than plot spectrum),
and you'll probably need to increase the resolution from the default setting.

In my project, I'm trying to edit these audio clips of animal sounds. I want to make them sound like they are coming from a person.
