Re: I need help with my Audio
... I was told i need a soundproof room ... I can't hear reverberation from the room, so "sound-proofing" the room wouldn't change the quality of your recordings there. Before following Koz's suggestions ( De-Essing , & De-Clicking ), filter-out all the frequencies below ~50Hz , using...

Has action of the "Mute" "Solo" buttons been changed ?
It was possible to toggle between two tracks, (an A-B comparison thing), by repeatedly clicking on the same "Solo" button. Now it's as if the logic governing the action of the "Mute" &"Solo" buttons has been changed, so I have to move the cursor back & forth ove...

Re: First application of effect is being unnecessarily delay
I just tried "Audacity 2.1.3-alpha-Dec 17 2016"
That also has the same equalizer delay problems.

Re: Adding Music
How do you put an already published song on audacity? (Ex. American Country Love Song) If you have the audio file, e.g. .mp3 , can you just drag-N-drop it into Audacity. If the "already published song " is on a CD you can use Audacity to record what the computer is playing. http://manual....

Re: How to remove audio from exisitng movie clip ??
...My question is this how do I remove the sound from the original movie clip. The music I added seems to conflict with the sound from the original movie ... If you just want to reduce, or completely silence, the audio on the video there is a slider-control in Movie maker to do that : click on &quo...

Re: Newby Hint on Flute & Orchestra
... The orchestra sounds "tinny". Any suggestions of effects to try to fix some of this? Currently Audacity does allow real-time adjustments in its native equalizer , (they're working in it). In the mean-time you can download a free equalizer VST plugin which works in Audacity, e.g. see ....
