The headset is what I use for the microphone, so I don't see how I could test the noise occuring when I am not speaking or wearing the headset.... unless I misunderstood It's possible the noise could be you breathing on the mic or moving your head. What I have been doing is recording a guitar vocal track, and then on a new track, adding harmony. The problem is the 2nd track re-records the first track, so I get distortion. Sounds like Audacity is recording the output of the computer, as well as the live guitar. Try disabling "stereo mix&q...
