IMO one should increase the level on noise-eduction rather than apply it twice.
(Each application of noise-reduction adds computery processing artefacts)

I don’t quite hear the distortion. It sounds just fine to me ... Yours is almost bullhorn-level of distortion. It's understandable but harsh on the ear. Here are 10 examples of increasing compression/distortion .. increasingly compressed (10).flac IMO you're a ~7/10, should be <4 Alternatively, cou...

It's still distorted. Try turning-down the gain knob on the Yeti.
[Also turn off Windows audio-enhancements & mic boost if they are on ].

Even Pro software cannot undo distortion.

Re: I'm not sure how to fix this hum issue. Despite the large amount of noise reduction I apply, there's still a lot of

That's it? My issue is compression? IMO the issue is distortion, not hum. It's possible to create such distortion using high compression ratio, and/or the signal from the microphone was too loud (too hot) before any processing was applied. Unfortunately post-production in Audacity or other software...

... Here's the first sample: https://voca.ro/18maqK9myGJt I can't hear any hum on that, the outstanding problem is distortion* possibly caused by too much dynamic-range-compression. You haven't mentioned applying compression, so possibly that's occurring before the sound gets to Audacity. [ * not c...

Dynamic-Range-Compression , (without make-up gain).

Is there a way of increasing the bit-depth?
Do I have to do this in Hydrogen ...
Yes: when you export a WAV from Hydrogen the bit-depth should be 16-bit, not lower,
if you don't want the conspicuous digital-artefact noise.
