Re: How do you get amplitude modulation (tremolo) based on a sample?
The only problem is that this creates two oscillations per wave (one for each polarity). I only one want one oscillation per wave, like this: Use Audacity's pitch-shift to drop the frequency of the modulator audio down by an octave, before multiplying. One way to achieve that envelope shape is to f...

Re: Add "excitement" to audio
Like this? ... ATTACHMENTS audio-excerpt1.wav (1.42 MiB) I'd give that 9 out of 10 Any other recommended tweaks? Back to the nitpicking zone, (you did ask). There are still some clicks which eluded the de-clicker, made more-obvious by the presence treble-boost. They can be removed manually (individ...

Re: How do you get amplitude modulation (tremolo) based on a sample?
... Both of them are samples (track audio) ... I want to make the volume of a waveform go up and down thousands of times per second. Make the two audio tracks into a stereo-pair, then apply this code in Nyquist prompt to multiply them ... (mult (aref *track* 0)(aref *track* 1)) The right channel wi...

Re: Vertical Zoom
You can go back to the old way by going to Preferences > Track Behaviours and checking "Advanced Vertical Zooming". Unfortunately old zoom functionality has not been preserved exactly: right mouse-click used to zoom-out, now it brings up the new zoom menu, which has "zoom-out" o...

Re: How do you get amplitude modulation (tremolo) based on a sample?
I'd like to create an amplitude modulation (tremolo) effect where the tremolo frequency is determined by the pitch of a modulator sample. So, for example, if the modulator is playing a sine wave at 65Hz, the volume of the carrier will go up and down at 65Hz. 65Hz is way too fast for musical amplitu...

Re: How to undo echo after its been applied
Thank you is there a service that will look at my recording and try to fix it? :D If someone claims to be able to remove echo/reverb for money, insist on getting a sample of your processed audio before you part with cash. If money is no object, this is the best de-reverb that can be achieved ... ht...

Aha, it is caused by the mixing together of the two tracks - mono and pseudo stereo. ... However, no matter what, when mixing the mono and pseudo-stereo, even though no clipping in either, resulted in a track with a lot of clipping. suggested workflow.gif If -18dB RMS normalize is too loud try -21d...
