Re: increase volume in parts of speech recording?
I have an mp3 of a telephone interview that was recorded with a phone. The person asking the questions can be heard very loudly, but the person providing the answers is hardly audible (volume is too low) ... Could try this levelSpeech2.NY plugin to automatically even-out the volume difference betwe...

Re: Fix an improper instrument and vocal mix
If the piano is more on one side than the other, pan
towards that side & make a mono-mix.
[ Could than make a pseudo-stereo version of that mono-mix ].

Re: Latency in overdubs
... I suspect that something is wrong on the Windows side of my partition, because the system alone is requiring 22 gigs. Is that a lot? ... The bare minimum for Windows OS is 15-20 GB . "22 gigs" is normal, mine is currently 21.8GB ... My Windows OS also ~22GB.png I have deleted every ot...

Re: Setting the output volume on tracks
I have 900 or so songs from different sources ... I wish to be able to set all tracks imported to the same volume output. It may be possible to automatically batch-process your songs using Audacity's new "Macro" feature ... ... Use the Files... button to apply the selected Macro to select...

Re: Old Rave Tape Recording
Got it recorded now, still with a lot of spikes going off the graph ... Try turning down the recording volume slider ... Recording Volume Slider.png ... any links to try to get rid if the hiss and clean it up? Audacity has noise-reduction which can reduce hiss. NB: unlike other effects, noise-reduc...

Re: Recording my voice and compare to the original
If there is a small gap between sentences it can be expanded to accomdate repetition by manually inserting silence,
or automatically extending silences using this Audacity plugin.

Re: Static Throughout
When I import music, it is nothing but static ... The files are originally Windows Media Player. If the music files end in " .wma " you need to install something called FFmpeg into Audacity to play them, see ... https ://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_ installing_the_ffmpeg_import_export...
