There is a some audible reverb from the room, which bassy. So cutting the bass will reduce that "boomy" reverb ... De-boomy equalization 'curve'.png De-Boomy.xml I don't think my ears are sensitive enough to validate or reject this comment. Voxengo have a free real-time spectrogram plugin ...

Try disabling all the other Windows recording-devices except the wireless-mic that you want to use, e.g. disable "stereo-mix" & disable the computer's internal microphone. no headphones and mic are separate, mic is located in the next door room and yes sadly i can hear other sounds fai...

Could try other (free) software to see if your recording problem is specific to Audacity.
