Re: Waveform is identical at different bitrates
The WAV file is supposed to be lossless and the MP3 files are lossy (lower bitrate = more lossy) is my understanding. As such, should I not see differences as I zoom in? What am I missing here? If you have the original WAV, and make an MP3, it is possible to isolate the differences : the artifacts ...

Re: Grainimogrifier
The first track is treated as a graph whose height is the length of time until the next grain starts. Negative heights are treated as zero. When that track approaches zero the grain-density goes soo high there is severe clipping ... GRAINIMOGRIFIER is clipping.gif Limiting the minimum grain-separat...

Re: cannot use GSnap
The only way I can replicate that is if I still have another effect open when I try to use Gsnap.RATTLEGOAT wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 7:40 pmI have made sure that Gsnap is enabled several times. it is not missing from the effect list, it is just grayed out.

Re: How to get original view back (Win 8.1)
All that does is make the line longer and skinnier, almost where it's just a thin line. You can also zoom-in on the vertical-scale to make the "thin line" thicker. I'm new to this and just learning Audacity. I've recently made some recordings and saved them as MP3 tracks. When I open them...

Re: How to get original view back (Win 8.1)
Maybe you need to zoom-in on the horizontal, (time), axis ...chaidragonfire wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 2:47 pmWhen I open them up in Audacity to try and edit them, they look like they are compacted,
and I can't edit anything in this format.

Re: Not Recording on new track after gernerating rhythm track
After I generate a rhythum (click) track I create a new track to record my guitar on. When I click record there is no movement and no recording ... To record on a new track, (rather than append the click track), you have to hold down the shift key, then click on record. You can tick a box in prefer...
