Re: Is there a plugin that can display tracks by pitch instead of by volume?

Re: Podcast improvement

Here is another example when recording is not loud, but the sound is still there. Beginning and closer to end. ATTACHMENTS Sample 3.wav I can't hear anything wrong with that one. All your audio here has a lot of infrasound . infrasound isn't audible, but can create audible problems when the sound i...

Re: Podcast improvement

I am encountering a recurring sound problem that I can't get rid of. I am not sure why my Rode Mic is picking up this sound. I am using Rode NT-USB Versatile Studio-Quality USB Microphone. I attached a sample. I would appreciate your advice on how to avoid producing this sound when recording audio ...

Re: Rapid fade to silence at last 1-2 seconds of file?

... I like to be able create a similar 1-2 second fade to silence ... Audacity has a built-in fade-out effect ... fade out demo.gif ... I wish to splice together a number of songs, for a dance routine ... If the songs have the same BPM it is possible to cross-fade so the there is constant music, bu...

Re: Unwanted "squelching" on live recording

When I play back the brand new, unedited track, you can hear background noise in the silence before I speak and while I am speaking. But during the first pause in speaking, the silence squelches down completely. Ditto in every pause thereafter ... All consistent with Windows enhancements, (a Window...

Re: Name correction

Hi, New to audacity and I am using 2.3.0 A presenter used the wrong name of a church. I got him to state the correct name so that I could Overlay(?) the correction. :P Can you give me a clue on the approach to removing the incorrect name with the correct name. Re: Envelope Follower or Ducker?

I read the description but the one thing that I dont understand is the threshold. Does that mean that anything below the threshold (in you example -10db) the autoducker will not act on? The (-10db) threshold relates to the (control) track doing the ducking, not the track to be ducked. It will duck ...
