Re: Better narration, needs tuning?
... it's so much better than the original. However, I suspect it is far from optimal. Could the denizens of this forum recommend any improvements? Excerpt1.wav (1.17 MiB) The pseudo-stereo effect is a bit too strong IMO. Can narrow it by passing through Ozone imager again with minus width ... narro...

The connection should be from earphone-out (or line-out) on the mini-disc , to line-in* on the computer. Then select li...

Re: Newcomer question about working with multiple tracks
Do I first apply RMS Normalize just to the narrated track then, and are you saying to then bring in the music track and use Dynamic-Mirror? Trying to understand the order of the steps you're suggesting. Also, I currently use Envelope for the music because it's only at the beginning and end of the p...

Re: Listen to one track, while recording a second just by itself?
... I want to listen to the old track in my headphones, while recording (roughly) the same thing from my mic in a new track. What you've described is overdubbing : tick the overdub box in Audacity preferences . The recording device to select is the microphone , not the computer speakers, (a/k/a ste...
