Re: Nonvisual way to change project rate (keyboard only)
... All I've read is that the project rate can be changed at the bottom left or right corner ... The project rate can also be set via Audacity preferences: Quality menu. By changing the "default sample rate" displayed in the Quality menu, then pressing OK. Can get to Audacity preferences ...

Re: [2.3.2] cannot remove empty space?
Main question: how do I remove the empty canvas? If you select A ll your audio, ("Ctrl"+" A "), then click on "Fit selection", there should be no "empty canvas" . https://manual.audacityteam.org/m/images/a/aa/edittoolbarannotated.png https://manual.audacityte...

Re: Need help acheiving a stereo output.
... HOWEVER, when I play the recorded part back I have both guitars on the left AND the right... Windows can apply audio-enhancements which should be switched-off for faithful sound reproduction. One of these enhancements is a pseudo-surround-sound which has crossover: a little of left on right, &a...

Re: "Normalize" producing a weird audio effect when playing/pausing?
It may be relevant that you are using a 96kHz sample rate,
which is overkill: 32kHz is sufficient for chip-tunes ...
Using such a high sample-rate increases the risk of problems without audible benefit.

Others have made the same request.
It is possible to change the colour theme in Audacity preferences.
IMO the darker ones are easier on the eye.

Re: Play back issue
After installing a clip and pushing the play icon it takes 3 to 5 seconds before I start hearing anything on my sound. This has never happened before. Did I click on something by accident that is causing this? A possible cause of that delay is real-time effects. If you have a real-time effect open ...

Re: Filter sweep?
On second thoughts, Steve's Filter fade plugin is a better match to the brief than David Sky's LFO-controlled filters.

Re: Filter sweep?
How could one go about modifying the Random Low Pass Filter to create a sweepable filter plugin? There are already a couple of Nyquist filters which may suffice ... High Pass Filter (LFO) , & Low Pass Filter (LFO) [ LFO = Low Frequency Oscillator, which controls how the cut-off frequency of the...
