Re: Any idea what is causing this?
So it sounds like a software conflict? Yes. How would i go about fixing this issue, if there is a fix? There is an "exclusive mode" in Windows: so only one program has control of the mic ... exclusive.gif I've never had to use it myself though, so I'm not familiar with it :? , ( I would t...

Re: Any idea what is causing this?

Re: Can I Automatically EQ track to Desired Frequency Response?
With 128 points the frequency range only goes down to 750Hz (at 96,000Hz project rate it seems?). I would like to achieve a curve that will adjust to say 40Hz ... Tip: Repeatedly applying vibrato to (expendable duplicate) audio smooths-out the peaks/troughs in the the frequency-analysis ... smoothi...

Re: Clipping is OK?? Or no-no? LoFi vs. HiFi
So what happens to the harmonics when the wave is clipped? ... Where are the harmonics in a waveform? Can we see them, or do I switch to spectrogram to view them? Clipping generates harmonics . If you clip a pure sine-wave you can see them on the spectrogram ... first 10 sec sine wave, then clipped...
