Re: Pitch leveling/manipulation for car engine Ramp-up effect
.. how did you manage to do the ramp up correctly ... Ramp-up the speed on the time-track to ~103%, then back down to 100% ... ramp-up to 103 percent.png if you could expand a bit more on it? Im guessing the spectral tool was used for filtering or smth, but the pitch seems to go flawless this way ....

Re: Pitch leveling/manipulation for car engine Ramp-up effect
... Neither does changing pitch + time track or crossfading is working, this gotta be an almost perfect continous change in pitch. Im sure this can be done since the original samples in the game use these tricks. So what else can I try? I think it is possible using time-track & a lot of dodging...

Re: ACX Dang that noise floor
Any idea what that wind noise could be? I guess it's possible it's microphone noise. But if it's coming and going, that's the signature of HVAC or Air Conditioning ... It look electrical: the noise above 16kHz is attenuated when the person is speaking, & there is virtually no noise at 900Hz ......

Re: 2 General Questions In need of a little more explanation
I noticed that in the audacity manual they want you to set the max db to -6. ... I max out my recordings to 0.0db. I don't hear any noticeable distortion doing this. Am I doing the wrong thing? Can get away with going a little into the red with analog tape, but digital is unforgiving, see ... https...

Re: PLEASE HELP!!! Can I remove echo from my audiobook recording?
will the audiobook mastering still correct this? Attachments RAW file sample.wav (912.04 KiB) I can hear the faint echo after "Broke". As it's a raw recording, echo is not due to your processing. It sounds like an electronic echo, rather than an acoustic echo from the room. As it's interm...
