To input analog (line-out) audio into a USB port you need a $30 interface which converts USB into line-in, e.g. ... https://www.google.com...

Re: VST Plugins High Sierra
Audcaity does not apply effects live, in real-time. It applies them post-production.MisterEric wrote: ↑Thu Feb 06, 2020 5:39 pm... i should see an amplifier with knobs, and play guitar through it ...
You'll need other software if you want to use (VST) effects live.

Re: Removing crackling noise on one channel
What options did you use to get that? Just the default ones? As suggested in the instructions I mixed the pseudo-stereo version (adjust to taste) with the mono, otherwise there is a "hole" in the centre of the stereo-image. Also I cut some treble from the pseudo-stereo version, (not from ...

Re: Help Needed - Audio Quality
I'd like to improve my current audio further, I don't think it sounds terrible, but I don't think it sounds as good as it could. Your volume is OK, but it's low compared with similar YouTubes. Your RMS (voice + music) is -26dB, it should be more like -20dB. Apply RMS Normalize at say -20dB Then app...
