That appears to be it.
Clicking on Choose and navigating to the folder doesn't work, only typing the location.

It doesn't matter the location. It could be /Volumes/Iomega_HDD/AudTemp (which I had been using before) or it could even be /Users/(MyUserName)/Desktop/audacity_temp/ with everyone set to read and write. For some reason, it refuses to look there when I have it open and, if I set that location anyway...

Since upgrading to v.2.0.3, I tried making a recording, the program crashed, so I wanted to try again but changing my temp folder. When I try to do that, first, it says that "Space remaining is not available because the above location doesn't exist." Then, if I save that location and quit Audacity f...
