Export Chains

Hi,

I have several custom chains I've created that I want to copy to another computer / installation

Is it this possible? At the moment, I'm just redoing them all manually

Thanks

Re: Audacity 2.1.1 on OSX 10.9.5

thanks for your replies I have a previous install of 2.0.3 with ffmpeg, lame and few other libraries. I dragged the old Audacity (2.0.3) out of my applications and onto my Desktop, then dragged the new 2.1.1 folder into the applications folder, it looks like the attached. The console log says this: ...

Audacity 2.1.1 on OSX 10.9.5

Hi, I'm trying to run Audacity 2.1.1 on OSX 10.9.5, but it doesn't open I read the Known Issue: Known Issue: Security settings on OS X 10.7 or later may block Audacity being launched. Most users on OS X 10.9.5 and later will experience this, due to changes made by Apple. To permanently enable Audaci...

Re: Edit Chain ChangePitch

I'm not sure that 2.0.5 supported Reverb in Chains. The current version was 2.1.0 until today, but I see that 2.1.1 has just been released (it will be announced shortly). There has been substantial upgrading of effects in Audacity 2.1.1. I believe that all built in effects and many plug-ins are now...

Edit Chain ChangePitch

Hi,

When attempting to create/edit a Chain, the ChangePitch effect doesn't budge from 0.0000000

I've tried typing it in and clicking 'edit' to no affect

Any clues as to why this isn't working?

Thanks

Re: Lock audio clips

Is it possible cut or paste a segment of audio onto a track without shifting the already existing clips in front of it? I'd like to lock them at their current time position Yes, providing the audio section you want to lock is in one or more of its own clips. Uncheck Editing a clip can move other cl...

Is it possible cut or paste a segment of audio onto a track without shifting the already existing clips in front of it?

I'd like to lock them at their current time position

Hope that makes sense

Saving over original WAV

Hi,

Is there a hack or some way of opening an audio file (WAV, AIFF etc..) editing it and saving over it, without having to re-export?

Thanks
