Please can someone help me regarding recording audio. My mic and audio interface is ok the problem i'm having is with Audacity. During the recording the input monitor is in the red should this be the case ? when i play it back the output monitor is in the green ? By the time I convert to wav or mp3 ...

Hi it is a Yamaha Audiogram 3 the only settings I can find for volume are on the front panel.

Can anyone please tell me how to just get rid of the large red lines by deselecting show clipping thanks.

Hello I'm new to using Audacity and when I am recording I seem to get large red lines going up and down the recording line.
