May I suggest you call it "Audiobook Producers" rather than "Authors."

There IS a great convenience for zooming in to fix something, then zooming out to a previous level of magnification! The Edit menu has "Region Save" and "Region Restore." I use Edit, Preferences, Keyboard to assign them to the w and e keys. Then: Select a section. Type w. Zoom in and fix something. ...

Who reorganized the forum?

I just discovered this podcasting sub-forum today and the one for "Audiobook Authors." I appreciate the recognition of special interest groups for spoken word! But perhaps these two might be combined? I think we might be inquiring about the same technical problems and a single go-to would be useful.

I discovered Sony SpectraLayers through the wiki as another example of spectral editing software. Do you know of others?

People have asked to select arbitrary frequencies such as 1000 Hz to 2000 Hz then apply an effect only to those frequencies. Gale Can you point me to a detailed discussion of that? Don't know, but I do know the developers' board has debated the right approach to scripting quite a bit, and I have not followed it closely.
